Job Description

Front End Developer – London Based – 45k

My client is a leading digital agency specialising in the development of web platforms with APIs and system integration. They are also a leading provider of consultancy services for end to end digital strategy and digital marketing.

Currently, they seeking a talented Front-end Developer to grow and develop into their team. The individual must be motivated and be a hands on contributor to the front end team providing new website solutions for their customers.

The ideal candidate to will learn how to surface the best out of Sitecore and Umbraco. Experience with the Microsoft technology stack would also be an advantage.

Your day to day activities include:

  • Turning creative designs into stunning websites and applications
  • Working with the backend development team to integrate user interfaces into the web applications
  • Delivering websites focused on user-centred design, web standards, usability, and accessibility
  • Continuously developing your skills to reflect the evolving specialism, both for the needs of our customers and for personal development (support and training for this is provided)

Skills Required:

  • Advanced experience working with vanilla JavaScript (ES5/ES6)
  • Advanced experience with CSS coding methodologies (BEM, OOCSS, SMACSS)
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript frameworks and libraries (eg. React)
  • Experience with Sitecore or Umbraco would be highly advantageous
  • Preferred – experience with the Microsoft technology stack (.NET) and associated IDEs
  • Have demonstrable web software development experience (eg. a blog, portfolio, GitHub repository)
