A subsidiary of Power China responsible for power generation at Ras Al-Khair Power and Desalination Plant (world\'s largest hybrid water desalination plant under the ownership of Saline Water Conversion Corporation), which is combined cycle power plant with the production capacity of 2660 MW in Ras Al-Khair. Key Contributions: • Operating ten HRSGs boiler sampling system and their instrument meters. • Monitoring the quality of circulating water system and boiler\'s steam as per design requirement and parameters of HRSG boiler, closed cooling water and steam turbines. • Analyze the cations, anions and other element composition in water using Ion Analyzer, Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy and Gas Chromatography. • Operating and controlling the operation of demineralization plant and its mixed bed ion exchanger regeneration process. • Adjust and monitor the chemical dosing system (pre-treatment, corrosion inhibition, oxygen scavenging and anti-scalant) in the HRSG and CCW water as per required standards. • Controlling the parameters of chemical, oily and sewage wastewater treatment plants. • Handle work permits, perform isolation/deisolation of valves and assist the maintenance team in the work. • Supervised the daily analyses of HRSG, cooling system and evaporator cooler water and record the chemical usage, inventories, glassware, etc. in the lab information management system (LIMS). • Interpret test results, document technical reports and made recommendations related to chemical treatment and operational control of circulating water systems and report to the operations manager. • Assist the operations team on plant processes and performance to achieve maximum yield. • Maintain and responsible for the yearly third-party calibration of lab instrument as per IMC requirements. • Analyses of gas and steam turbine\'s control, lube and transformer oil in the oil lab to ensure that equipment is running under safe and efficient working condition. • Analyses the chemical, oily, sewage and rain water in the bacterial lab to ensure that the disposed water meets the specified standards of regulatory pertaining to environmental compliance. • Participate in the development and training of local Saudi operators related to plant processes and equipment.

The only producer of polystyrene raw material in Pakistan with the production capacity of 100,000 metric tons per annum. The manufacturing facility located in Karachi with three production units of crystal, high impact and expandable polystyrene exported to worldwide. Key Contributions: • Responsible for the operation of the overall manufacturing process of High Impact and Crystal Polystyrene by controlling the various process parameters through PLC based panels. • Monitors process conditions and makes necessary adjustments to optimize the process while ensuring products are within the required specifications according to the grade. • Prepare daily operation logs and reports for the production and consumption of additives and raw materials. • Actively participate in the start-up and shutdown activities of the plant with the team coordination. • Ensure various equipment’s pressure testing, handling condensers and cooling tower parameters and troubleshooting plant operational problems safely. • Carried process development and generation of improvement ideas for optimization of process parameters. • Hands on experience in operating plug flow reactors, CSTRs, mixing tank, batch mixers, centrifugal and gear pumps, steam boilers, vacuum system, extrusion dies, water baths, air dryers, pelletizer, lubricators and storage silos. • Liaison with maintenance, electrical, packaging, testing and utility departments for the smooth operation of the plant. • Guidance and training for the local process operators and technicians on process and plant operations. • Ensure mechanical reliability and environment friendly operation of the plant and equipment.
