Job Description

About the role:

This is a newly-created role for an innovative, highly motivated individual to be part of the cyber-security governance team.  This team ensures that Cambridge University Press maintains and evolves its cyber-security controls in a highly effective way.

This requires an understanding of the threat landscape, with the trends, of the technical solutions available from the market to mitigate them and of the different domains of cyber-security, Cloud security, web application security, network security, endpoint security, data protection, cryptography, to mention a few.

You will collaborate with many stakeholders across the business: our Security Operation Centre, Technical teams developing Cloud Platforms, ecommerce Platforms, web applications, and the Infrastructure team

Given the scale of our organisation which operates numerous sites worldwide, a wide range of platforms, systems, this is a very rich environment to develop and improve your cyber-security skills.

About you:

You may have some experience in cyber-security, in either a professional or personal capacity and can demonstrate a very strong attraction towards that domain.

You will work well with others across our global organisation and you will be highly pro-active to investigate and identify solutions to ongoing issues.
