Salary: £27,905 – £30,507 Plus laptop & phone
Working Arrangements: Monday to Friday, occasional evening and weekend including Agile Working

Your role in our journey

As an Organisation and Workforce Improvement Officer you’ll develop, design, plan and deliver learning and development activities including courses, briefing sessions, presentations, events and e-learning. You’ll proactively liaise, negotiate and collaborate with people across and external to the council. Crucially, you will use feedback and data to evaluate learning and development activities, identifying improvements and ensuring value for money.

What you’ll need

To join us, you’ll need a Level 4 diploma in an area relevant to the role and a level 3 qualification in training, teaching or learning and development. You will bring to the role experience in the development, design, delivery and evaluation of training. With highly developed communication skills, you will have experience of providing individuals with professional advice and guidance, and delivering formal presentations to a wide range of audiences.

We want to make our current training offer more engaging and innovative using the latest technologies, with this post being integral to that change. This post will have a digital focus, and we want someone with a creative mind, who is up for the challenge and willing to develop their skills and knowledge whilst helping others to do the same.
