Job Description

Reporting to: Managing Director, AFNOR UK

Key Tasks & Duties

Commercial

 Implement sales plan and business targets as defined by AFNOR UK MD and AFNOR Board of AFNOR Certification and Training products.

 Deliver sales in the established sectors identified within the scope of competencies within the Business Strategy Plan

 Identify potential new customers

 Develop new services within existing customers

 Achieve the budget objectives for sales and margin

 Adapt the commercial offer in line with customerneeds

 Implement commercial strategy by contacting and follow up with prospects, in liaison with the Managing Director when necessary

 Identify decision-makers in target companies

 Achieve the objective of gaining new customers as defined in the budget

 Develop the UK certification and Training Portfolio

Manage customer satisfaction and sell additional services as appropriate
Regularly update files on CRM databases
Ensure compliance with contract clauses
 Sell and Negotiate

Collect customer needs and identify opportunities
Establish quotations on the basis of the contract review for new prospects and existing customers, in particular within the framework of renewal.

 Present and sell business proposals

Meet customers as appropriate to the commercial situation (initial, renewal and training)
Manage contract signature

 Ensure the interface with customers

Maintain contact with customers
Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries
Make necessary arrangements for sales visits

Key competence criteria

 A fluent English speaker. French is an advantage

 Proven Sales skills and experiencewithin TIC industry

 Knowledge of industry and business management systems

 Good presentation skills

 Understanding of ISO 17021 and management system certification

 Thorough knowledge of Afnor UK procedures and processes

 Intercultural communication

 Computer literate, especially in Excel and MS Word, PowerPoint. Training is provided for other office tools (OSCAR,SOURCE &client database)

 Have a confident phone manner

 Understand and utilise Key Account Management skills

 Accurate and well-organised, must be able to use own initiative

 Administrative skills

Criteria for management and monitoring

 Submit monthly commercial report

 Submit weekly 30/60/90 sales forecasts
