Job Description

Morgan McKinley are partnering with a global supplier of responsibly sourced gemstones to recruit a Group Finance Manager to join their London HQ. The Group Finance Manager will be a key asset to this forward-thinking Finance function and work closely alongside the Group Finance Controller in this period of growth for the company. The core responsibilities for the successful candidate will be preparing the monthly group consolidation, group internal and external financial reporting as well as managing the entire budget for the UK head office. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant and possess a strong working knowledge of International Finance Reporting Standards (IFRS).


Prepare and manage financial reporting and analysis for the Group whilst overseeing all UK entities.
Prepare and management the Group consolidation process and Group management accounts alongside commentaries and analysis for board presentations.
Prepare and file UK statutory accounts ahead of strict deadlines working effectively alongside the UK Tax Manager.
Effectively managing the annual budgets and forecasts for the UK entities alongside the production of monthly rolling cashflow forecast.
Responsible for writing technical accounting papers on acquisitions, new accounting standards and provide IFRS guidance to local teams on any technical accounting issues.
Responsible for the implementation of cost centre reporting and business partnering within the Group.

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar)
3 years post qualified experience minimum.
Strong knowledge of IFRS is a must.
Strong analytical skills and able to solve problems logically.
Strong knowledge of budgeting and forecasting issues.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills – Able to create and manipulate complex workbooks.
To be considered for this role you must be a qualified accountant with strong working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
