The Challenge
Begin your graduate journey with us whilst taking part in our fantastic graduate development programme. We will create an individual training plan to help you to develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of it you will be set up with the best knowledge to equip you for your professional career within Siemens.

Contribute to many of the prototype software applications which run on our 4G/5G radio system
Researching modern technology solutions to meet business needs, from as small as software libraries, to as large as entire out-the-box solutions
Take the lead in introducing new software and technology solutions to our department’s processes
Designing database and system architectures, outlining interface requirements and specifications, and providing insight into alternative technology solution
Getting the opportunity to “fill the shoes” of many specialist software Engineering roles and work in many interesting fields, including: DevOps, Cyber Security, Cloud Architecture, Networking, Back-End Software Development and Solution Architecture
Presentation of different ideas and projects to the team and senior management, along with offering training

You are or have graduated a Software Engineering related degree, having strong interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to self-sufficiently work through programming problems.

You are a good communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to present ideas and results back to the team and management and customer relationship building skills.

You will have as a minimum, a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office elements including Word, Excel, Outlook. Exposure to Phyton, Java, Modern cloud computer technologies or anything similar would be an advantage, however is not a requirement.
