Job Description
Job Description Currently we are looking for candidates for the position of: Mechanical Engineering Intern Location: Bradford Department: Engineering
Duties & Responsibilities
• To provide Mechanical support to the staff Mechanical Engineers to ensure high quality, safe, efficient delivery of capital projects. • Support capital or expensed projects up to a value of £1m. Provide support and work alongside the project lead mechanical engineer. • Provide technical assistance to the project team, covering civil, structural, piping, Fabricated Equipment and Machinery. Participate in projects to ensure delivery of the defined KPIs for safety, schedule, budget and scope. • Ensure compliance with site standards, procedures and regulatory requirements. • Provide support to Operations and Maintenance on request. Some projects/ tasks may be directly for the Operational departments. • Provide general support to the office and senior engineers as required to assist with the departmental standards and guidelines.
The Individual
• Working towards a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent • Microsoft Word, excel, power point, Outlook. • AutoCAD (or similar) knowledge desirable
