What does Siemens Electric and Gas Networks Systems & Services do?

Siemens has a long history of providing end-to-end electric Solutions for networks metering. We provide specialist and proven design capability, manufacturing, testing and commissioning in dedicated facilities. At our UKAS accredited laboratory we calibrate high accuracy metering solutions for the precision measurement of energy in large capacity circuits.

At Siemens Smart-Infrastructure in Nottingham, we are searching for a Meter Operations Coordinator to join our team. Key to your role will be to coordinate the service delivery of Networks Meter Operations Agent Central Volume Allocation meter operations in accordance with customer and industry service levels.

Coordinate Meter Operations activities and industry balancing settlement code requirements to ensure service delivery is planned and carried out in accordance with service level agreements.

Creation of annual Meter Calibration, Technical Assurance Audit & Health Checks relating to metering operations and service level

Administration of invoices for payment relating to Meter Operations.

Asset creation, updating and other administrative tasks performed in the bespoke systems.

Maintain and update asset portfolio and the documents repository.

Coordination and support of projects handover to Meter Operations team.

Support internal and external industry audits.

Tasks relating to 3rd party logistics and warehousing including the booking of dispatches and returns, and inventory maintenance.

What you need to make real what matters.
Experience as a planner or coordinator in a similar role within the metering industry, advantageous

Intermediate Excel skills essential as this role will entail a lot of reporting and working in Excel

Good communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to deal with customers and staff at all levels

Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise key activities

Ability to work as part of a team and establish good working relationships with colleagues and customers
