We are looking for an Assurance Intern for the Upstream Sustainability Services Business line. The contract is for an initial fixed term 3-4 months from mid-March to early July, with the possibility of extension.

The opportunity to work with us will provide you with exposure to high-profile clients and highly engaging and supportive colleagues. The role will involve conducting assurance checks on environmental data and managing the evidence collection process with the clients. Assurance allows our clients to assess the quality of their environmental reporting and governance, supporting the implementation of their sustainability strategies across their real estate portfolios.

What this job involves
This role reports to the assurance service lead and sits within the consulting team in Upstream Sustainability Services. It will entail working alongside your colleagues and the account teams to manage evidence collection, conduct assurance checks and create assessment reports. The role will include engagement with: colleagues across JLL; energy bureaus and property managers; and with clients.

You will:
Consolidate, organise and sample environmental data for investor, developer, occupier and landlord clients
Manage and carry out evidence collection process to deadline
Conduct assurance checks against evidence to deadline and budget
Work in a rigorous manner to deliver accurate, high quality and engaging reports and outputs
Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders

A rigorous approach and attention to detail in both quantitative and qualitative analysis
An enthusiasm to build your knowledge and develop professionally
Strong computer and information system skills; in particular PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure
Passionate about sustainability
The following set of skills/knowledge would be beneficial but not essential:

Work experience in any of the following sectors:
Sustainability
Real Estate
Market or social research
Economics
Degree and/or post-graduate qualification or equivalent related to the above.
