Job Description

What we are looking for:

  • Completed a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold a Mechanical Engineering qualification
  • Experience in fault finding with hydraulics, pneumatics, machining, welding or fabrication
  • Strong mechanical fitting and/or HME experience
  • Possessing a good understanding of maintenance strategies and their deployment in a continuous improvement background
  • Self-motivated, with initiative and a proactive approach
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relations with others at all levels
  • Highly organised with demonstrable planning and delivery capabilities
  • Excellent team working skills and able to work alone
  • Health & Safety or training qualification – IOSH
  • Be capable of reporting verbally and in writing & IT literate
  • A license to drive various types of mobile plant & access equipment including forklift trucks would be advantageous
  • Experience / knowledge of HME plant
