London Area Business Development Manager

Our products range from simple one to one door entry kits through to complex microprocessor-based IP commercial systems as well as sophisticated video entry security systems for luxury apartment buildings.

Reporting to: General Sales Manager 

Outline Role:

  • Targeting Apartment Projects within London and South East
  • Development of sales within the London and South East
  • Promoting products in the designated region through an existing network of contacts while developing new business
  • Clear and Effective Project Management
  • Expected 2-4 visits to customers daily
  • Expand the network of contacts and forge relationships with key personnel and decision makers
  • Operate a proactive approach to promotion and the identification of new opportunities
  • Working with architects and contractors to generate new business
  • Achievement of sales target for your region and related KPI’s
  • Development and implementation of growth strategies for the area
  • Provide a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Ensure that orders are taken on fair and equitable terms
  • Ensure products sold are in line with companies’ specifications and best practice
  • Monitor local market trends / competitors and cooperation with management for the development of future products
  • Operate in a culture of continuous improvement through review of existing practices and the development of more efficient, ‘smarter’ methods of working
  • Promotion of products to clients from the following sectors – commercial, educational, residential and the health service
  • You will be working from home with a minimum requirement to attend the London office each quarter for Sales Meetings

Key Knowledge

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience selling experience ideally with a technical or manufacturing background
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office
  • Able to priorities and work under own initiative
