Job Description

Java Developer (SOAP Web Services) – Remote Working – Inside IR35

Our London/Jersey based banking client is currently looking for a skilled Java Developer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract working from home.

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • Strong experience in software design and developing Java applications, on a WebSphere Application Server, in Java 7 or 8
  • Strong experience of Java Enterprise Edition (JEE)
  • Strong experience of SOAP Web Services
  • Strong experience of JAX-WS
  • Experience of Rational Software Architect
  • Demonstrable experience in database design and architecture
  • Experience of working with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries or stored procedures
  • Demonstrable experience of using industry recognised frameworks and development tooling
