Job Description
A leading IT Infrastructure & Services Consultancy seeks a Google Cloud Platform Consultant for a 6 month contract initially with a major London based banking client, remote role
Experience familiar in the following base infrastructure concepts ·
GCP – Iaas, SaaS and PaaS
Key GCP Services – Anthos, GKE (Production Environments), Cloud Composer, Service Mesh / Istio, GCP Lifecycle Management
Familiar with GCP DevOps, execute Agile methodology within the tool.
Must be able to work within an SRE Framework
Source Code Version Control tools such as TFVC and Git standards like JSON and XML
CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
DevOps change management and philosophy.
Proficient in Terraform, Ansible etc. Jenkins, Concourse etc.
API design and development
Microservices architectural style and design principles
Domain-driven design.
Responsible for influencing and shaping GCP solutions during pre-sales engagements.
Provide qualification of solutions approach and produce engagement documentation for internal and external consumption
Define solutions, technologies and standards to blueprint best practice within the technology tower
Design and implement solutions for customers consistently and with quality, using our methodologies and processes
Provide opportunity-specific Technical Assurance, Quality Assurance, Governance & Customer Satisfaction of pre and post sales consultancy engagements
Define solutions, technologies and standards to blueprint best practice within the technology tower
Produce high quality assignment documentation and assure deliverables produced by team members to ensure consistency and accuracy within a solution.
Work as part of a team defining, designing and implementing solutions for our customers
Attend customer meetings to present solutions from a technical and implementation approach
Highlight any technical risks that may impact the success of the solution for our client
