MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge, UK
The MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology is one of the birthplaces of molecular biology and is an internationally renowned centre for fundamental biomedical research.
Applications are invited for an Investigator Scientist to join the group of Dr Ingo Greger to undertake research investigating the modulation of AMPA glutamate receptors using a combination of cryo-EM and biophysical approaches, in collaboration with AstraZeneca (AZ Cambridge).
This project builds on our recent work on AMPA glutamate receptors (Herguedas B. et al., Science 2019; Zhang et al., BioRxiv 2020; Dohrke et al., JBC 2020). Candidates should have a PhD and experience with biochemistry & structural biology approaches.
The successful candidate will be awarded a one year fixed-term Investigator Scientist position with a potential further 1-year extension. Informal enquires may be made to Dr Ingo Greger at [email protected]
