Job Description
IT Director
Salary range £90-100k plus benefits
Based in London
This role is a senior IT leadership role, responsible for service, operations, security, assurance and management of internal resources.
Responsibilities:
*The role emphasis is on service and operational performance against agreed service levels, and continuous improvement of those services to the group.
*The role will own and maintain strategy, standards and IT/OT technology capability development.
*Manages End User Computing, Hosting Services, Networks, Information and IT Security, IT Service Continuity, Mobile and Telephony, Operations Technology and other infrastructure services.
*Manages the Application Management and Solution Development (continuous improvement, upgrades, support) process for Corporate, Finance, Commercial and Asset Performance.
*Manage IT Spend and Suppliers.
Experience and Qualifications:
*Must have come from a strong technical IT and Engineering background
*Degree in Engineering
*An understanding of IT Infrastructure and turbines
*Previously experience in mergers and acquisitions (desirable)
*SCADA experience
*Experience implementing a wide range of Infrastructure and Software solutions
oMaximo, SaaS and Azure
*Previous experience of working in a large global Pan European organisation.
*Proven experience in application, infrastructure and service management skills, with a good understanding of information security and operations technology for an Energy wholesaler.
*Previously worked in an Energy and /or Renewable Energy sector
*Qualifications: Service Management, ITIL, Infosec, Project Management, ESG or CSR knowledge.
