We need a senior, strategic IT programmes leader to be accountable for a wide variety of important programmes such as our Model Branch Programme, the seamless integration of new acquisitions, plus the replacement of our core business systems.

Since 2009, we’ve grown by acquiring companies and winning new business. Our operating companies collectively support tens of thousands of people across the UK, helping them live independently through a range of care support services such as elderly care, care support for younger adults, complex care and support for disabled children.

Our new IT Programme Director will shape the future roadmap for all programmes, together with improving our ability to deliver and realise value from these programmes. This is a challenging role in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial firm where the needs of our clients always come first.

The Role:

  • The IT Programme Director will define and manage a large portfolio of programmes and will often help to define and procure the technology solution to be used. You will ensure on time, to budget project delivery, coupled with the full adoption of change and its projected benefits.
  • You will lead our project teams and instil best project management practice, together with the pragmatic, light-touch governance structures that will be effective in our complicated and fast-paced organisation.
  • You will be accountable for architecting the agreed, costed roadmap for IT enabled change which will provide the efficient, customer focused, business systems landscape to help us continue to deliver superb care as we grow.

The Person:

  • You will be genuine, people-focused and collaborative with fantastic stakeholder engagement skills. You should be comfortable working with people from the boardroom to the front line.
  • You will have a proven track record of successfully delivering important and complex programmes of IT enabled business change. You should also bring a pragmatic and creative approach to the creation of technology solutions.
  • Bright, energetic and delivery-focused, you will be a credible senior leader, able to enthuse project teams and bring in new, more structured ways of working.
