We are looking for a new Tooling Engineering Manager to join or site in Ijmuiden, NL, on Isle of Wight, UK, or in Nakskov, DK.
Tasks & responsibilities: You will…
…lead and manage the tooling engineering team across the different blade manufacturing sites and continuously improve and optimise the tolling to deliver a stable manufacturing process. You will lead the Tooling Engineers and the Tooling EAM Engineers and manage the annual cycle of People Review, Motivation & Performance Dialogues and salary review.
Your tasks will also include:
Responsible for d-FMEA for new tooling.
Responsible of standardisation of current tooling across sites
Identify improvements in Tooling (Cost and Tact)
Identify process requirements and develop tooling to fulfil requirements
Development and delivery of business case for new/improved tooling
Budget development and presentation of new tooling
Maintain high safety standards and work with the HSE Department to report incidents and manage risks out of the process
Identify and manage training needs in the Tooling Engineering Team and arrange for training to be realised
Skills & experience: Our new colleague…
…has experience with people management in a manufacturing environment combined with an appropriate engineering degree, preferably at master’s level. You can identify customers and their needs and have good understanding of safety and quality processes and understanding. It is important that you have strong communication and English skills and the drive to continuously motivate and coach your team towards agreed KPIs.

Have good development and improvement skills and can adjust your behaviour in light if new information and chaning situaitons
Are result-oriented and have a structured approach to complex tasks
Are a team player who understands how to work in line and matrix organisationa
Pay attention to detail while still being able to keep the overview
Have good understanding of Six-Sigma and LEAN
Can use Microsoft Office, especially Excel
