Job Description

There is increasing demand for economic analysis in the selection and justification of STFC’s exciting project opportunities. You will be part of a growing team that will have increasing influence in justifying STFC’s ambitious future portfolio. There will be opportunities to work across UKRI.

You will:

  • Provide analytical input for STFC’s pipeline of multimillion-pound business cases
  • Contribute to building the evidence for individual cases, drawing upon a broad range of analytical tools including data analysis, modelling, quantitative and qualitative techniques, value-for-money assessments, surveys, and literature reviews
  • Communicate effectively to senior stakeholders to understand requirements and explain complex analysis, including to non-specialists
  • Provide economics support to colleagues
  • Provide appropriate guidance for projects depending on size and lifecycle stage.
