The School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment delivers a diverse range of programmes at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level and undertakes research that is rated in the top 20 for the UK in the Built Environment.

The Department of Construction and Surveying is seeking an open ended/full time (1.0FTE) Lecturer in Quantity Surveying.  The successful candidate will have expertise in the field and will contribute to the School’s research, income generation and teaching in related areas.  In addition, he/she will also be expected to play a role in the on-going development and delivery of the subject area at both modular and programme level in Glasgow, London and internationally.

The successful candidate will have a relevant Honours degree or equivalent. In addition, the candidate will be expected to have either a PhD in the subject area and/or possess full membership of the RICS. There will also be a requirement to evidence experience of designing and delivering learning materials including on-line distance learning resources.
