Job Description

Superb opportunity to join a small independent marketing agency as they continue to grow, working in their new business and marketing department as a new business executive. The agency works with fantastic clients as well as an energetic, creative & collaborative team.

It’s a newly created position due to company growth and you will be working with two experienced managers in a busy, varied position which will offer the right person a chance to develop the role and grow with the company. Your responsibilities will include supporting the business development managers with research and general co-ordination of new business efforts

The role will also involve

– Research and reporting on potential target territories, sectors or individual companies as well as providing an analysis of information.

– Identifying potential new clients and opportunities.

– Co-ordinating targeted new business material for potential clients.

– Effectively communicate the agency’s offering to clients over the phone and by email, demonstrating a wide knowledge of current and recent projects.

– Utilising marketing tools such as LinkedIn, press, trade shows attendees list to target decision makers effectively.

We are looking for someone with

– Previous experience of working in a business development or new business role in a similar agency environment

– Proven track record of securing new business leads.

– Ability to manage and build relationships with new clients successfully.

– Effective and confident communicator with the ability to engage with prospective clients and build a strong rapport.

– Ability to think strategically and identify and propose relevant opportunities.
