Job Description

2 year part-time Islamic course for male and female adults that will develop a cohort of educated worshippers and family and societal role models.

The CORE curriculum is composed of 3 learning strands: Development, Education and Skills.

Development. Pioneering and world-class Islamic mindsets & character building through in-classroom and outdoor teaching.

Education. Fundamental Islamic education that fulfils a Muslim’s religious learning requirement. Taught by qualified and experienced lecturers.

Skills. Essential skills for stepping out in today’s world. Students are trained in speaking, writing, entrepreneurship and creativity.

Curriculum Breakdown & Timetable

The curriculum is delivered over 2 years. Classes are held twice a week onsite: every Wednesday and every Saturday.

The programme will start September 2020 and end August 2022.

Prerequisites

All applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

  • Applicant is 18 years old or above

  • Applicant has knowledge of Arabic alphabet and is capable of reading the Quran (fluency is not required)

  • Applicant is able to study onsite at our London location (E1W 3HB)

  • Applicant will commit to the weekly timetable (see handbook for timetable)

Important dates

  • Applications open Monday 3 August 2020

  • Interviews will be held Saturday 29 August 2020

  • Programme starts Saturday 19 September 2020
