Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsible for coordinating marketing activities for the UK by adapting the corporate marketing strategy to match local market conditions, building the corporate brand locally.

The primarily aim is to interpret and implement strategies to support brand development and drive sales. Reporting directly to the UK General Manager whilst supported by the Regional Marketing Strategy Manager, the marketing executive will have a proficient understanding of the local market to enable successful customisation and implementation of the integrated sales, marketing and technical outlooks and plans.

 

Marketing Activity and Communications:

  • Design and execute a highly effective and multi-channel communication plan
  • Integrate activities with customer journey maps tailored to each market segment
  • Support key accounts through the regional account-based marketing programme
  • Update and develop the local Alltech website to improve customer experience
  • Work with technical and sales to prepare relevant content as per the prescribed guidelines
  • Evolve relations and maintain liaison with local press to ensure successful media coverage
  • Manage social media interaction on local Twitter page and other regional platforms
  • Coordinate customer training activities via events, webinars and podcasts
  • Establish, coordinate and activate sponsorship agreements that increase brand equity
  • Develop and implement creative lead generation and contact sign-up campaigns
  • Establish product promotion advertising/sponsored content packages
  • Ensure the local team have the latest news, information and resources

Event Management: 

  • Investigate which local event/trade shows to attend and exhibit at throughout the year
  • Work with the local team to plan, organise and coordinate attendance and exhibition
  • Attend event days to coordinate the stand and connect with customers
  • Coordinate and process leads and submit all event relevant reports
  • Conduct surveys at as required and provide summary analysis

Market Research, Planning and Reporting:

  • Work with the local and central teams to conduct local market/customer research
  • Continually update and adapt the marketing plan as per market and business requirements
  • Calculate and control local marketing budget and update actual costs on monthly level
  • Provide regular marketing reports to the local sales team and central marketing team

Marketing Support:

  • Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing toolboxes including literature, mailers, merchandise, and sales tools
  • Ensure complete and proper enforcement of the Alltech corporate brand identity guidelines
  • Coordinate photo and video shoots and processing

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Accept additional responsibilities as allocated by senior management
  • Participate in special projects as deemed appropriate by senior management
  • Assist and/or execute induction training for new staff as required by senior management
  • Work with the People Department to promote local vacancies and induct new employees
  • Support local PR and CSR initiatives as required by senior management
  • Collaborate with and support other business units required by senior management

Personal Development:

  • Attend company-sponsored training classes as required
  • Attend trade show seminars as required to assist professional and personal development
  • Agree personal development needs with the Regional Marketing Operations Manager and UK General Manager on a half-yearly basis
