Job Description

A listed legal 500 law firm based in the heart of the city of London is looking for high-calibre solicitors.

We are an established firm offering company and commercial legal services across a wide sector including the tech industry. We provide corporate finance legal advice & we are very well known in the industry for preparing companies for investment. In addition to this we offer legal services in the areas of commercial & civil litigation, employment and surrogacy /family.

The practice is continuing to grow with a division recently opened in Croydon and a number of partnerships established with tech hubs, banks and other business associates. We are frequently asked to give talks at high level events the most recently being the House of Commons and we are award-winning firm in areas of innovation, commercial teams, business advice and alternative law such surrogacy

We require solicitors that are dynamic, able to work on their own initiative & will be committed to both clients and the firms culture . In turn they will receive every benefit and support on a daily basis and for their career. We are an extremely friendly team and we offer exceptional annual leave provisions, bonus structures and other benefits that not every law firm offer (such as 35 days leave entitlement )

Our work ranges from small start-up businesses with an exciting idea and ranges up to those taking investment in from 5 to 20million. We are currently undertaking a sale for a company worth 70 million and we have two international litigation matters to give a flavour of the level of work we undertake. We are extremely busy in the tech sector working on block chain contracts , advising on drone law, GDPR & employee share options. This is a very exciting opportunity as you will work with an array of clients, over an array of sectors on a variety of legal areas.

The solicitor needs to be able to take on the challenge of an expanding department, with a varied and exciting caseload

We are looking for the following

Experienced , qualified solicitors that can handle both litigation and commercial work. They will be required on a full-time and permanent position

Each candidate must provide a covering letter and CV. References will be undertaken and should be provided upon application. We expect candidates to have a good command of the English language, be presentable for a city firm, appear confident in their approach as they will be meeting clients and it’s essential that they have a team approach to their work.
