Job Description
As the leader in business, academic and consumer products, we have made our way into thousands of offices, schools, and homes all over the globe. We’re the home of great brands built by great people and due to eCommerce growth, we’re looking for a new Digital Marketing Operations Manager EMEA.
You will play a pivotal role transitioning our brand websites into eCommerce enabled, customer led but performance orientated, brand communication hubs serving a growing audience of more than 2 million users across 8 core brand websites, each available in up to 19 languages.
Responsible for our Marketing Technology operations, you will oversee our MarTech stack and our website platform infrastructure and development. You will translate the Online strategy team’s vision and brand team requirements into development projects and manage their delivery through our development partners.
Your project management skills and analytical mind-set will see you translate website data into marketing insights to support our Digital Marketing and brand teams. You will own our KPI reporting and localisation processes and workflows and content syndication programmes. At your disposable will be a brand new instance of EpiServer DXC and an Award Winning agency.
This is the perfect role for an analytical digital marketing project manager with a customer first mindset.
Organisation
Reports directly into the Online Marketing Director EMEA and is part of the EMEA Online Marketing Team.
Principal Accountabilities and Key Tasks
The Digital Operations Manager will be involved in the verification and validation of new features, functionalities, and enhancements, as well as performing an analyst support role for our eCommerce websites.
1. Digital Marketing Operations Management
- Specifying and managing brand website development projects
- Ownership of eCommerce platforms and third party integrations
- Data Insight Analysis and reporting
- Translation & Localisation system ownership
- Brand website KPI reporting
2. MarTech & Platform Development and Management
- Run regular refinement and sprint planning calls with our development agency, balancing the business expectations and needs with the ongoing maintenance of our brands sites
- Monitor and maintain Episerver and non-Episerver environment performance
- First line bug reporting and escalation
Knowledge and Experience
- Outstanding project management skills and process management
- Sufficient level of technical background to provide credible management of development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues.
- Highly organised, creative problem solver with a collaborative approach
- Google analytics expert
- Experience overseeing multi-function project teams including Developers, Internal stakeholders and QA Personnel
- Ability balance and champion both business and end user needs
- Good presentation and facilitation skills
- Strong working knowledge of current and emerging web technologies
- Prior experience with Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects.
- Ability and willingness to maintain personal skill set currency
- Operational knowledge of Episerver or Episerver DXC an advantage
- eCommerce background desirable but not essential
- Ability to travel within Europe
