The opportunity:

OpenText is the market leader in Enterprise Information Management platforms and applications. The division is seeking an experienced QA Developer who shares our passion for developing and maintaining products related to search capabilities for both cloud and on-premises deployments.

You are great at:

• Conducting a wide range of quality assurance tests and analyzing test results to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements
• Working with stakeholders to understand requirements, develop strategy & test scenarios
• Working with lead/manager to develop a test plan, schedule, and present time estimation for testing activities
• Performing automation design, scripting, and maintenance of test scripts/environment
• Debugging software products using systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards
• Identifying issues then clearly and accurately logging bugs
• Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Configuring and maintaining test environments

What it takes:

• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and proven experience in enterprise software QA experience
• Experience testing web applications
• Experience in automation and manual testing
• Ability to analyze information and draw accurate conclusions and test reports
• Good understanding of QA methodology and Product Development Life Cycle
• Knowledge of ALM tool, such as Jira
• Strong problem-solving skills

Desired
• Understanding of web technologies, such as HTML/CSS/JavaScript/JSON/HTTP
• Python / Java
• Jenkins
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Jira, GitLab, TeamCity
• Experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform
